One approach that Ivanti will promote together with the CII is security-by-design. In a world of multipolar threats, the CII, as an independent research institution, pools scientific expertise and security know-how from providers in order to implement holistic security concepts for companies and organizations more quickly.
The aim of the newly founded CII is to work with partners to strengthen the digital resilience of the economy, society and state institutions. The institute's interdisciplinary approach is geared towards the global context. The focus is on open exchange with security experts from science, industry and society in order to effectively develop the right answers to modern attack vectors.
“With its funding partnership, Ivanti is making an important contribution to identifying potential vulnerabilities from product development to deployment. This is crucial, as cybersecurity has increasingly become a basic prerequisite for any sustainably successful digitalization in recent years - both in business and in public administration,” explains Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker, Research Director of the cyberintelligence.institute and Professor of IT Security Law. “Cybersecurity thrives on participation and the active, open exchange of information. Ivanti enables contemporary work cultures with centralized security management. Together, we will further strengthen this approach.”
Ivanti brings to the partnership its extensive expertise in secure endpoint and service management, endpoint and network security, as well as its experience in optimizing security solutions and customer-centric security. In the context of “Everywhere Work”, Ivanti is committed to developing secure solutions and implementing improved practices to anticipate, prevent and defend against future cyber threats. To this end, Ivanti is strengthening product security and relying on the principles of “Secure by Design”.
“Through our cooperation with the CII, we want to make an important contribution to a comprehensive approach to security. Science and business must work hand in hand to develop interdisciplinary cyber security concepts,” says Alexander Neff, VP EMEA Central at Ivanti. “Companies can hardly manage the integration of different IT disciplines and solutions in-house. As a comprehensive solution provider for the entire IT workplace, we offer expertise in endpoint and service management as well as endpoint and network security. It is our job to make security management easier for our customers.”
